Ronald has a “3-E Mission” in the Marketplace: to Educate the public about the importance of financial planning, to Encourage them to take practical actions for their financial future, and to Empower them to make the right choices with a positive attitude to take personal responsibility about their financial future.
Ronald acquired Financial Perspectives Pte Ltd in 2014 and is currently it’s Managing Director. Besides lecturing, he is also actively involved in the writing and editing of classroom materials for the CFP® Certification Education Program and other CPD programs. Besides teaching the CFP Certification, he also develops curriculum for Financial Institutions and conducts various professional courses and certifications such as the Certificate in Advising Small and Family Businesses, Certificate in Retirement Adequacy, Code of Ethics and Rules and Regulations courses, Stocks-Options-Forex Trading Skills (S.O.F.T Skills), TradeCRAFT, etc. In promoting financial literacy of consumers, Ronald conducts money management workshops for companies and is a regular speaker for the Millionaire Mentality Seminar.
Ronald holds a Master of Business Administration from the Universty of Birmingham (Birmingham Business School) and is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner. As the Director at Ronald Wong Consultancy Services, Ronald consults and coordinates planning for local business owners. He is also the consultant at a Single Family Office (SFO) based in the region. His experience ranges from insurance sales and personal financial planning to structuring private placements of investment vehicles and coordination of Wealth Management and legacy planning within Family Offices.
Since 2005, Ronald has been promoting the concepts of financial planning by conducting talks and workshops at various public and private organizations as well as Polytechnics and universities. In 2007, he started an initiative called “LunchTalks Seminar Sessions”, where he conducts financial literacy workshops on a voluntary basis at various organizations, equipping members of the public with investment and money management knowledge and skills.
He also conducts trading and investment courses such as “Value Investing” and the “S.O.F.T Skills” programme which was conducted quarterly and now in its 17th intake, focusing on the trading of stocks, options and Forex for retail investors. A passionate speaker who generously shares his ideas, he was also frequently engaged by various Financial Institutions to conduct specialised training for their sales force.
